Epic Personnel Partners is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Ruther Glen, VA!

Logistics Supervisor: Ensures the timely and efficient distribution of perishable goods. Oversees inventory management with a focus on maintaining proper storage conditions, manage a team responsible for handling food products, and coordinate the scheduling of shipments to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety regulations. Requires close attention to detail to prevent spoilage, reduce waste, and ensure that food products are delivered to customers in optimal condition.

Salary: Exempt

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, and ensure proper storage conditions for perishable goods.

· Supervise and manage a team of logistics personnel, including warehouse workers and drivers.

· Ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving, coordinating with carriers and suppliers.

· Develop efficient transportation schedules and routes to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.

· Adhere to and enforce safety standards and food safety regulations within logistics operations.

· Implement procedures to minimize spoilage, damage, and waste, ensuring product quality.

· Address and resolve logistical issues, maintaining detailed records and reports for management.

Qualifications:
