Logistics Billing Specialist (Transportation/Freight Experience Preferred)
 Transportation, trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics billing experience is strongly preferred. Applicants without relevant industry experience may not be considered.

About Us

Royal Management Logistics is a growing transportation and logistics company seeking an experienced Logistics Billing Specialist to join our team. This is not a standard medical, retail, or office billing position. We are looking for someone who understands the fast-paced freight industry and can accurately process customer invoices, carrier payments, and shipment documentation.
Responsibilities

  •  Invoice freight shipments accurately and on time 
  •  Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), rate confirmations, and shipment paperwork 
  •  Review customer contracts and ensure billing matches agreed rates 
  •  Process carrier invoices and resolve billing discrepancies 
  •  Work with dispatch, customers, and carriers to resolve billing issues 
  •  Reconcile detention, layover, lumper, TONU, and accessorial charges 
  •  Maintain accurate records within our Transportation Management System (TMS) 
  •  Assist with accounts receivable and collections when needed 
  •  Meet daily and weekly billing deadlines 
Qualifications

Required:

  •  Minimum 2 years of billing experience
  •  Strong attention to detail 
  •  Excellent organizational and communication skills 
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook 
  •  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
Preferred:

  •  Transportation, trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics billing experience 
  •  Experience working in a Transportation Management System (TMS) 
  •  Knowledge of freight terminology including PODs, BOLs, detention, layover, accessorials, and carrier settlements
