Job Description:

We currently have a need for an Inventory Management Support in our Redmond, WA location.  This position reports to the Logistics Manager.  In this role you will perform manual, clerical, and data entry/analysis tasks related to the receiving, movement, storage, inventory tracking, disbursement, packaging and shipping of sensitive electronics, materials, equipment and supplies.

Essential Functions:

  • Record information regarding materials received and shipped in the department computer system.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counting process, enters and tracks data in spreadsheets and the company MRP system, analyzes data for problems and reports those problems to the Logistics Manager.
  • Package and handle materials within company guidelines.
  • Count and/or weigh incoming parts to verify receipt.
  • Ensuring that all materials requiring inspection are moved to the proper locations.
  • Separate and move materials, equipment and supplies to and from stores, warehouses, person, department, station and manufacturing areas.
  • Unload trucks ensuring that all material and receiving paperwork is accounted for and complete.
  • After inspection is completed, verifying that inspection stamps, signatures, quantities and acceptance tags or labels are accounted for.
  • Work independently in a warehouse environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat.
  • Possess valid Washington State Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Other duties as assigned. Material Handlers are cross trained to provide backup support to all Material Control functions: Receiving, Kitting, Transportation, Issuing, Cycle Counting, Material Transfers, and Shipping.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior material handling experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior material handling experience.
  • Experience with operating forklifts, order picker and electric pallet jack, receiving, inventory control and cycle counting processes and warehouse functions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and in using information and reports to improve department processes, services and efficiency.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) sensitive electronics handling preferred.
  • Experience in HazMat/explosives handling, packaging and shipping a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a plus.
  • Experience with MRP systems or Oracle a plus.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $21.15/hr - $39.42/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
