If so, you might be the Plant Material Planner we are looking for at Forvia. As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of production line delivery with minimum stock targets and logistics costs. You will be responsible for building and following up the procurement program, managing the supplier delivery performance and the logistics partners service, achieving the transportation program and the transportation scheme, directing the packaging management, ensuring the compliance of the logistics conventions, and verifying the sales and production plan capacity requirements.

Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available. Track inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and shipments. Identify slow-moving, excess, obsolete, or shortage inventory.

Data Analysis Analyze inventory data and trends to forecast demand. Generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory accuracy. Use data to recommend inventory optimization strategies.

Forecasting and Planning Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to forecast future inventory needs. Assist in developing inventory replenishment plans. Support demand planning and supply chain decision-making.

Inventory Accuracy Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts. Investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. Implement processes to improve inventory accuracy.

Supply Chain Coordination Work with suppliers and purchasing teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Monitor lead times and supplier performance. Help prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

Systems and Reporting Maintain inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems. Create dashboards and performance metrics (KPIs). Ensure data integrity across inventory databases.

Process Improvement Identify opportunities to reduce inventory costs and improve efficiency. Recommend process improvements for inventory control and warehouse operations. Support implementation of inventory management best practices.
