About the Role A growing healthcare medical supply company is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to take ownership of its transportation and delivery operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands logistics from the ground up and can oversee the entire delivery operation, improve efficiency, and build scalable processes. The ideal candidate has strong trucking and fleet management experience and can lead drivers, optimize routes, solve operational challenges, and ensure the transportation department runs at the highest level.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all transportation and logistics operations.
  • Manage drivers, dispatch, scheduling, and daily delivery execution.
  • Optimize routes, improve delivery efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance, including repairs, inspections, oil changes, and vehicle performance.
  • Manage truck leases, vendors, and transportation-related relationships.
  • Resolve customer delivery issues and improve service levels.
  • Develop systems and processes to improve logistics performance.
  • Analyze operations and implement technology or workflow improvements.
