Settlement Officer

We're looking for a Settlement Officer to support settlement and loan processing functions for real estate closings. This role is responsible for coordinating escrow files, supporting successful closings, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong customer service throughout the transaction process.

What You'll Do
Coordinate and process escrow and settlement files to ensure timely and accurate closings
Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, loan processors, and internal team members
Process loan packages and prepare files in compliance with settlement and accounting guidelines
Create, review, and update settlement statements
Coordinate closing logistics and attend closings when required
Handle disbursements, post-closing activities, and related follow-up
Review reconciliation items, aging escrow files, and assigned exception reports
Support document recording activities when applicable
Collaborate with leadership on workload priorities, operational issues, and special projects
