Job description

OBJECTIVE:
Assist the logistics manager and facilitate the transport operations of PIPESTONE. This person will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve effective distribution of livestock.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)

  • Understanding flow of swine including common obstacles and effective solutions.
  • Assist with scheduling and troubleshooting for drivers.
  • Create reports for fuel, mileage, and DOT compliance.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Computer savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
Organization and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under little supervision and track multiple processes
Work Environment:
High paced, high-energy atmosphere
Forklift, pallet jacks and other machines/equipment that may be loud
Physical Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
