Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

Location: Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights (1900-0730), occasional weekends required.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Additionally, the RN is responsible for data entry for billing purposes and logging of case data into the digital archive of the department. This role will also support the staffing needs of the Progressive Care Unit and ED Boarders, as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care for various aged patients.
  • Utilize the nursing process for effective patient management.
  • Ensure accurate data entry for billing and case data logging.
  • Support staffing needs in the Progressive Care Unit and ED Boarders as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required upon submission.
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
  • ACLS certification required for GSR Interventional Care.
  • Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.
  • Recent Acute Care Experience required (Emergency Department, Progressive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit).
