Job description

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSEThe Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.Additionally is responsible for data entry for billing purposes and logging of case data into the digital archive of the department. Note: These travelers will also support the staffing needs of the Progressive Care Unit and ED Boarders, prn. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required upon submission.Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.GSR Interventional Care:ACLS required. Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing. Recent Acute Care Experience required for concideration. (ED, PCU, ICU)
Shift: Nights (1900-0730) occasional weekends required.
