Lucrative Hospitalist Locum Tenens Opportunity in Comfort, WV Seeking Experienced Hospitalist for Daytime Coverage 7a-7p

Are you a dedicated Hospitalist looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have an exciting position available starting in March in Comfort, WV. Join our collaborative team in providing exceptional patient care and contribute to the well-being of the community.

Job Overview:
  • Profession: Hospitalist
  • Coverage Start Date: March
  • Schedule Options:
    • Prefer 7 on/7 off availability
    • Minimum 4-5 shifts at a time for continuity
    • Daytime coverage: 7a-7p
  • Facility Details:
    • EMR: Meditech
    • Number of Beds: 22
    • No ICU beds (intubation and central line placement skills preferred for emergencies)
    • Daily Census: 8 Acute/4-6 Swing
    • Specialty Coverages: Cardiology, General Surgery, PRN Pulm, Nephrology
  • Physician Shifts: 7am-7pm (single)
  • APP Shifts: 7pm-7am (single)
  • Procedures Required:
    • Intubation
    • Central lines for emergencies
Candidate Requirements:
  • Board Certification:
    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) - REQUIRED
  • Procedural Logs:
    • Procedural logs reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents within the past 12 months - REQUIRED
  • License:
    • Active WV License at the time of name clear - REQUIRED
  • Certifications:
    • COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED
    • BLS/ACLS/NRP - REQUIRED
  • Clean Credentials:
    • Clean license, DEA, and background, no malpractice - REQUIRED
Certification Requirements:

State License Requirements:
  • West Virginia
