Locum Rnfa Travel information
What is the difference between Locum Rnfa Travel vs Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Travel?
| Aspect | Locum Rnfa Travel | Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) Travel |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | RN license, possibly additional certifications for travel | RN license, RNFA certification, surgical assisting credentials |
| Work Environment | Various healthcare facilities, temporary assignments | Surgical settings, assisting in surgeries |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Staffing agencies, travel healthcare companies | Hospitals, surgical centers, specialized facilities |
Locum Rnfa Travel involves temporary nursing assignments focusing on surgical assisting, often through staffing agencies. RNFA Travel specifically refers to nurses trained as First Assistants in surgery, working directly in surgical procedures. While both roles require RN licensure, RNFA positions require additional surgical assisting credentials. The main difference lies in the scope of practice and work environment, with Locum Rnfa Travel offering broader healthcare facility coverage and RNFA Travel specializing in surgical assistance.
