EP Lab RN

Will be working as an EP Lab RN. Skills required include Electrophysiology Lab experience, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, and Insertion/Programming of AICDs. Must have knowledge of Pacemaker Insertion, Scrub Procedures, Antihypertensives, and Emergency Medications. Experience with IV vasopressors, Thrombolytics, Blood Product Administration, and Care and Maintenance of Implanted Ports is essential. Understanding of Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Circulate Procedures, and Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias is required. Experience with Sheath Removal and Monitoring, as well as Topical Hemostasis methods is necessary. Knowledge of Vascular Closure Systems is also needed. EPIC charting experience is required. The position does not require weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts. First-time travelers are accepted. A mandatory competency in phlebotomy is required for all RNs. Candidates must float between units as needed. Additional skills may include Assist with Central Line Insertion/management, Infection Prevention, and Monitoring Procedural Sedation. RNs will be expected to start and maintain IVs and perform Tilt Table Studies as necessary. Candidates should be prepared for collaboration and interdisciplinary support in patient care.
