Locum Interventional Radiologist in Chattanooga, TN

  • Shift: Onsite; Weekday 8am-4pm; Night call 4pm-8am; 24hr weekend/holiday call

  • License/Certs: Tennessee Medical License required; BLS, ACLS, DEAC preferred
  • Experience: No fellowship required; prior IR experience preferred, diagnostic reading not mandatory

What You'll Do

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, vascular interventions, biopsies, drainage, and neurovascular procedures
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and digital radiography
  • Manage pre- and post-procedure care and communicate critical findings
  • Provide emergent care and support during call coverage, including stabilization and assessments
  • Collaborate with support staff, radiology team, and hospital personnel
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to facility policies and safety standards

What You Need

  • Active Tennessee medical license
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS; DEAC preferred
  • Prior IR procedural experience; diagnostic reading not required
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
