This field-based position focuses on conduit installation, bending, wiring, and supporting controls system installations on active jobsites.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial electrical experience, excellent conduit-bending skills, and the ability to read electrical drawings. Previous HVAC controls or building automation experience is a plus, but the controls-specific knowledge can be learned on the job.

Responsibilities
  • Install EMT and rigid conduit for commercial HVAC controls and building automation projects.
  • Bend and install primarily 3/4-inch conduit with accuracy and professional workmanship.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and construction layouts.
  • Pull wire, terminate devices, and complete electrical installations for HVAC control systems.
  • Work closely with controls technicians, electricians, and mechanical trades to complete projects.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary field corrections.
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and equipment required for daily field operations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional workmanship throughout each project.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on commercial electrical experience.
  • Strong ability to bend and install 3/4-inch EMT and rigid conduit.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, mechanical, or similar construction environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and basic construction documents.
  • Previous HVAC controls, BAS, or building automation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on field installation experience is required; residential-only electrical experience will not qualify.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability and willingness to learn HVAC controls and building automation systems.

Benefits

  • $60,000-$65,000 annual salary, with flexibility based on experience and technical expertise.
  • Health insurance options.
  • Retirement plan options.
  • Paid time off.
  • Additional company-sponsored benefits may be available.
