Job description

Title: Safety and Asset Protection Associate
Reports to : Director of Asset Protection
Division: Corporate, based out of our Long Island City, Queens location
  • Ensure the execution of safety, security, compliance, and loss prevention programs, including managing CCTV, access control, alarms, Safe vendor and locksmith services.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently across all levels of operations.
  • Liaison and coordinate third-party security personnel as needed, including overnight vendor access and off-site events.
  • Train employees on safety, security, compliance, and loss prevention protocols and systems.
  • Conduct internal audits to monitor adherence to compliance standards and recommend corrective actions or training when needed.
  • Analyze Point of Sale (POS) reports to identify patterns of risk, suspicious transactions, and opportunities to improve compliance and prevent loss.
  • Investigate incidents including accidents, shipping losses, policy violations, internal losses, and theft, taking appropriate lawful and administrative actions.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance services for security vendors, including alarm systems, CCTV, access control systems, and safes.
  • Manage access control and protect property, individuals, and information from loss, damage, or unauthorized access.
  • Serve as a liaison with building management for the Long Island City center.
  • Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and mall security.
  • Develop partnerships with Store Management and Associates to increase awareness of security-related issues, safety concerns, and other loss prevention initiatives.
  • Document and submit detailed incident reports in alignment with company standards.

SALARY RANGE: $70,000-80,000 per year
