Job description

We're looking for an experienced Embedded Technician to support access control and security systems at a high profile Midtown Manhattan building.

This is a hands on role for someone who can manage the building, manage their own workload, and communicate clearly with building teams and vendors.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary embedded technician on site.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain access control systems, doors, readers, locks, and related hardware.

  • Manage your own tickets from start to finish. Review the issue in the portal, diagnose the problem, and determine the next step.

  • Coordinate with outside vendors when an issue requires additional support.

  • Communicate status, next steps, and completed work clearly.

  • Keep detailed records and make sure issues don't get lost between teams.

  • Work independently while maintaining a strong relationship with building management and other onsite personnel.

What We're Looking For

  • Lenel/Genetec certified

  • Strong hands on experience with access control systems.

  • Experience troubleshooting door hardware, locks, readers, and related access control equipment.

  • Strong ServiceNow or similar ticket-management experience.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
