Job description

You will be the Pilot Vehicle Interface Design Engineer - Level 5 for the Pilot Systems Engineering (PSE) group - Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for designing and delivering innovative pilot vehicle interface solutions for advanced aircraft.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Pilot Vehicle Interface Design Engineer - Level 5 you will be responsible for shaping nextgeneration cockpit mechanisms and ensuring they meet mission needs. This is a non-flying position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching, designing, and constructing mockups of PVI mechanizations for tactical cockpits and presenting them to customers.
- Designing, simulating, and refining PVI solutions for controls, displays, sensors, weapons, and airvehicle subsystems.
- Collaborating with pilots, engineers, and simulation technicians to implement, evaluate, and document PVI designs.
- Providing subjectmatterexpert support to brief and train test pilots, production pilots, and training systems engineers.
- Applying highlevel knowledge of 4th/5thGen fighters, ISR aircraft, and other advanced manned and unmanned platforms to support operational studies.
