Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company as an Aircraft Field Service Engineer (FSE) on our Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team! This FSE position directly supports the F-35 squadrons at Luke Air Force Base (AFB), AZ, to include US Air Force (USAF), Norwegian, Italian, Royal Netherlands, Danish, Canadian, and Belgium Air Forces. Luke AFB currently has 6 squadrons and growing.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Nose to Tail (NTT) FSE, the preferred candidate will be a subject Matter Expert (SME) in Avionics/Mission Systems (MS). It is desired the individual also be an emerging authority in APG/Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures, with the skill set to accomplish troubleshooting and analysis of MS, VS, or SLO.
Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• The candidate will act as part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team's technical interface to the on-site Customer (both Operations and Maintenance) in resolving issues arising from maintenance and modification activities for all matters dealing with the F-35 aircraft.
• Some travel required; candidates must be willing and able to deploy with Customer personnel to the Continental United States (CONUS), Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) and hazardous duty locations. US Department of Defense (DoD) mandated vaccinations may be required.
• Applicant must be able to work and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with customer personnel at all levels.
• Provide support for the assigned site on aircraft ground maintenance and operational limitations. Direct on-site support as requested by customer, site manager or program management.
• Manage and track multiple engineering and logistics support activities, providing periodic status to customer and Program Management.
• Must possess a final Secret Security Clearance. Must be a United State citizen.

Basic Qualifications
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
* 6 years' experience on 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft (F-22 or F-35)
* Experience troubleshooting Mission Systems (MS) and or Vehicle Systems (VS)
* Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience
* Final Transferable Secret Security Clearance
Desired skills
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
* Experience communicating to Military leadership teams and Senior Leaders
* Fault isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level.
* Technical report writing skills
* Experience with technical drawings/schematics reading and interpretation.
* Experience with engineering tools to include, but not limited to FSE Vision/VAST, PDM, VAS, JEDI, JARVIS, and CRE.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
