THE WORK
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Analyzing and interpreting electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production stages
• Updating and creating assembly work instructions for efficient assembly based on the drawings and/or models
• Publishing work instructions to the production floor for use
• Identifying and maintaining tool lists required for the efficient assembly of the given products.
• Investigating technical problems and providing guidance to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing failures and helping to implement corrective actions
• Supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing process
• Providing input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
• Working in close collaboration and guidance of Subject Matter Experts in the implementation of manufacturing functional improvements
• Adhering to existing functional process and procedures related to manufacturing engineering

Basic Qualifications:
• Awarded Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering; or equivalent relevant manufacturing engineering experience/combined education
• Has the ability to analyze electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
• Must be highly detailed-oriented due to the nature of electrical & electromechanical assemblies
• Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desired Skills:
• 1-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience, including internship or co-op experience
• Generates manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, or standard operating procedures
• Applies design for manufacturing concepts
• Uses ERP/MRP and MES systems

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
