This position is for the Business Development Analyst Staff in the SEMS line of business supporting the Multi-Function Sensors (Radar+EW) portfolio. This position is for individuals with strong business development, program management and/or technical backgrounds in Department of Defense sensors and command and control systems with a focus on U.S. domestic opportunities for new airborne radar development as well as major upgrades to existing airborne radar systems

Key mission areas include Airborne Early Warning, and Airborne ISR (SAR/MTI). Customer set includes the US Air Force, Army, and Navy, as well as Industry partners. Responsibilities include: Identification, qualification, and capture of airborne radar opportunities consistent with overall business area strategy.

Leading the response to customer Requests for Information and formal proposals. Development and maintenance of productive business relationships with customer organizations (primarily US Air Force and/or US Navy), domestic partner companies, and suppliers. Establish and maintain direct customer interfaces.

Coordination with Program Management teams to formulate plans for new product offerings to satisfy emerging customer requirements. Work closely with capture managers, program managers, and communications and functional staff. Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, general correspondence, request for data and other business transactions and interface with customers to shape their opportunities, while considering requirements, existing capabilities and funding availability.

Development of budgets and management of New Business Fund accounts and expenses. Preparation and presentation of market opportunities and strategy briefings to internal stakeholders. Coordination with appropriate U.S

Government offices to gain and sustain their support and to ascertain status of procurement initiatives within the U.S. Government. Supports a diverse group of domestic business development and capture professionals in the Market Segment

Maintains trade show, overarching stakeholder contact, and communications plans. Assists in proposal development. Leads/supports assigned captures.

Assists in development of product roadmaps to meet customer needs. Assists in strategy development. Conducts all business in strict compliance with all corporate command media and applicable state, federal, and international regulations.

Evaluates and reviews relevant market research, trade media data, and Department of Defense budget, policy, and strategy documents. Reports findings for major marketing and capture proposals, and their impact on the market segment. Domestic and International travel is expected.

Basic Qualifications Broad experience in the Defense Acquisition System with significant exposure to US Air Force or US Navy requirements and acquisition processes Established and successful reputation in the defense market space; relationships with relevant customers in service laboratories and federal research institutions An aptitude for strategic planning, financial analysis, capture management and teamwork Diplomatic, persuasive and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external customers Proactive, superior attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills Business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, reliability, and sound judgment Passion for personal accountability, achievement, learning and continual improvement Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations Proclivity towards teamwork and collaboration--must be a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills Prior experience in radars either in a technical, programmatic or business development role Must have at least a SECRET clearance to be considered.
