Job Title: JSF LiftSystem Deployed Operations Manager

Working Pattern: Full time

Working location: Indianapolis, IN, or Working from Home

Job Description:

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) LiftSystem, Deployed Operations Manager (DOM) will lead Field Service Representatives who are accountable for providing the contractual service requirements of various Customers, specifically providing day-to-day direct operational support to our operational flying Customers and to the aircraft OEM Lockheed-Martin Flight Line Operations in Fort Worth, Texas. The DOM will focus on maximizing propulsion availability while minimizing Customer disruptions. The DOM will be the People Leader for a team of 15 - 20 FSRs in 3+ different countries.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and direct FSRs in support of propulsion maintenance and recovery actions in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Provide capability management and development of FSRs, ensuring best practice relevant to Health Safety & Environmental and regulatory requirements and standards. Act as the Accountable Person for HS&E JSF/LiftSystem Field Services.
  • Program Manage and act as the liaison between Field Services and the Home Office.
  • Ensure you and your FSR team are Certified to Operate in accordance with the Rolls-Royce Authorized FSR Work Instruction.
  • Manage the escalation of both operational & OEM Customer satisfaction issues to ensure resolution is delivered within expectations with the minimum customer disruption.
  • Effectively manage the direct in-service Customer relationships across multiple FSR locations and time zones, as well as Rolls-Royce internal relationships
  • Support US Aero Field Services Defense functional initiatives.

Basic Requirements:

  • Associates degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, Or
  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, Or
  • Masters degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, Or
  • JD/PhD, Or
  • 9+years relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
  • Up to 25% travel that can include international travel

Preferred Requirements:

  • US Secret Security Clearance
  • Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant License
  • F-35B maintenance / operational experience
  • Must be able to facilitate having a high-performance team, demonstrating a track record in delivery, exemplifying strong leadership qualities and have very good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to successfully bring together teams to achieve results applying structured processes but also being flexible in approach and thinking
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication capabilities
