La Gorce Country Club is seeking a passionate, service-oriented individual with a positive attitude to join our team. The Seasonal Locker Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the locker rooms while ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all members and guests. This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak and write in English clearly and professionally. This role is SEASONAL/TEMPORARY ONLY


The ideal candidate provides friendly, attentive, and efficient guest service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.


Responsibilities
  • Keep the locker room and restrooms clean, stocked, and fresh at all times.
  • Maintain all golf and dress shoes according to Club and industry standards.
  • Ensure proper placement of shoes in members’ lockers upon completion.
  • Clean and maintain the general locker room, vanity area, bathrooms, and card rooms.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, window cleaning, bathroom sanitation, linen/towel removal, refreshing, and replenishment.
  • Provide beverage and/or snack service to ladies in designated areas as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Maintain adequate locker room supplies for smooth daily operations.
  • Communicate any member requests for additional supplies or cosmetics to the Locker Room Manager.
  • Respond promptly, professionally, and efficiently to member needs and requests.
  • Report all maintenance, safety, and security issues to the Manager immediately.
  • Maintain discretion, privacy, and professionalism in all interactions within the locker room environment.
  • Anticipate member needs and create a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable Club experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and write in English clearly and professionally.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or a customer service role preferred.
  • Ability to interact graciously and courteously with members and guests.
  • Physically able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
