About Your Role
The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist will provide support to the Commercial Loan Operations Support Supervisor in quality control. Acts as an internal/external customer service ambassador. Leads responsibility in processing loan servicing requests and account record maintenance. Shares responsibility in monitoring Loan Servicing reports.
What You Will Do
1. Accurately and efficiently process high-level financial and non-financial transactions to loan accounts, including but not limited to-fulfillment of borrower advance requests, fund transfers, risk rating changes, lender updates, and other requested data entry.
2. Process payment corrections, payment posting, non-accrual, charge-off processing, lockbox payment exception items, non-posted loan transactions, and fee assessment on all loan types.
3. Performs all functions related to adjustments including but not limited to daily report monitoring, validating payment calculations, rate changes and effective dates.
4. Process loan payoff funds received as needed.
5. Process daily rate index updates on core processing system.
6. Executes research and assists with responses to the Legal and Audit Department requests for subpoena documentation.
7. Responsible for completing research as needed of loan images or files for internal and external requests- work directly with customers and other departments or branches to research items of various complexities while bringing situations to a successful and timely resolution.
8. Review various daily LAS reports and clear exception items daily.
9. Assists in the monitoring and the reconciling of the daily proof and general ledger accounts of the department.
10. Assists the Commercial Loan Operations Support Supervisor in the compilation of data for regulatory compliance and monthly and quarterly auditing as needed.
11. Assists in coaching the team to meet and exceed service levels, ensures operational excellence, and creates an exceptional customer experience.
12. Assists in ensuring department procedures are current and updated as needed to ensure accuracy.
13. Scans completed checklists and various work to archival system.
14. Responsible for providing support to various departments and retail branch locations such as the Customer Care Center, Commercial Loan Post Closing/Booking Teams, Small Business Lending, Commercial Lending Teams, Special Asset Department, Deposit Operations, Auditors, etc.
15. Understands the compliance requirements for Loan Operations to ensure files are maintained in accordance with regulations.
16. Assists with conversions, mergers, and other special projects.

* Internal customer service including but not limited to Commercial Loan Post Closing, Small Business Lending, Commercial Lending Team, Special Asset Department, Deposit Operations, Auditors, etc.
* External customer service including Fiserv, External Council, title companies, auditors, etc. as needed.

Office environment. Ability to operate a computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups. Ability to travel throughout Bank footprint.
