What to Expect
The Sr. Asset Management System (Technical) Manager is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining innovative solutions using modern tools and technologies. Partnering with cross-functional IT and business teams, this role analyzes requirements and reviews proposed technical solutions to support project delivery. This role collaborates closely with cross functional internal stakeholders and external vendor partners to deliver AMS support and enhancement initiatives. In addition, this role establishes and implements standards, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and governance.
What You Will Do
1. AMS Support, Backlog & Enhancements
• Deliver AMS support and enhancement initiatives
• Review the AMS backlog, prioritize items with the business, and plan delivery
• Collaborate with Business and IT on enhancements and production support tasks
2. Production Operations & Incident Management
• Address production issues as high priority within SLA; keep stakeholders informed
• Proactively handle production issues
• Monitor daily Alfa batch and payment processes (NACHA extracts, Lockbox, EFT, Online Pay)
• Provide production support for daily operational activities and external vendor integrations
3. Stakeholder, Vendor & Cross-Team Collaboration
• Partner with cross-functional IT and business teams
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders (HCA departments, vendor partners)
• Work closely with business users, data analysts, developers, and other teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation
• Collaborate with internal teams for data, integration, system configurations, third-party vendor, and batch configurations
4. Business Requirements & Solution Design
• Analyze business needs/requirements with IT & business teams
• Understand business requirements and translate them into data requirements
• Design data/technical solutions aligned to strategic goals
• Review proposed technical solutions to support project delivery
• Translate business needs into technical solutions; apply business acumen
• Update solution design documents
5. Build, Test & Deliver (Project Execution)
• Support technical aspects for projects
• Align with multiple resources to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Provide technical solutions working with the Integration team
6. Governance, Standards, Data Quality & Follow-through
• Establish/implement standards, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and governance
• Follow data quality standards; implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across integration systems
• Manage, track, and follow up on action items, issues, and conflicts as needed
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
• Minimum 8 years' progressive IT application experience.
• 3+ years Alfa systems experience or contract/asset/portfolio management system application experience
• 5+ years SQL and API framework project experience
• Unix bash / Python / shell scripting experience
• Java experience (troubleshooting; ad hoc programs for data fixes)
• ETL/ODS knowledge and experience
• Auto finance industry knowledge
• Experience prioritizing AMS backlog items/enhancements with business partners
• Experience resolving production issues within SLAs and communicating to stakeholders
• Finance industry / captive automotive finance experience a plus
• Experience with project management tools/applications a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• Ability to gather requirements, create BRD's and break them down into the technical tasks required to complete a project phase.
• Ability to apply agile methodologies suitable for the project and formulate hybrid approaches.
• Provide estimates for implementing a solution
• Strong in designing data solutions from business/data requirements
• Strong data analysis and visualization; ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, integrity
• Proficiency with data analysis/programming tools (e.g., SQL; plus Java/Python/R as applicable)
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; operate within SLA expectations
• Monitor/operate batch and payment processes and related integrations (as applicable)
• Strong written and verbal communication; translate technical topics for non-technical audiences
• Communicate efficiently with stakeholders; keep partners informed during issues/delivery
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.

Work Environment
