Job description

Job Description One of our clients is looking to hire a Cash Application Associate in Atlanta, GA. This role sits within a busy Accounts Receivable team and is responsible for accurately processing daily cash receipts and applying funds using the lockbox functionality within the company's ERP system. The ideal candidate brings a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to resolve cash application issues, reconcile accounts, and collaborate across Collections, BD, and Treasury.

This is a great fit for someone who's comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys both the numbers and the customer-facing side of the work. The role requires 90 days fully in-office before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: Process daily cash receipts, including checks, ACH, and wire transactions, using ERP lockbox functionality Analyze customer accounts to identify and resolve complex cash application issues Balance assigned lockboxes, ACH, and wire transactions daily, and support month-end AR reconciliation Communicate with external customers and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies Qualifications: High school diploma or GED plus 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination Experience with cash application in a lockbox system strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel PivotTables and V-lookup Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
