Job description

We are seeking Warehouse Technicians- Night Shift for our First Quality Tissue facility located in Lock Haven, PA. Warehouse Technicians are responsible for safely executing warehouse tasks per policies and procedures to support inventory accuracy, loading, unloading and housekeeping efforts.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for observing safety rules and performing in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
  • Follows necessary GMP and ISO regulations/guidelines.
  • Calculates accurate tallies and documentation during the loading, unloading, and warehouse process.
  • Inspects all equipment used on a daily basis and reports defects to Management.
  • Maintains an efficient product flow throughout the warehouse operation.
  • Maintains good housekeeping in the warehouse area.
  • Accurately completes necessary paperwork.
  • Provides accurate and legible paper work to maintain an accurate database.
  • Assists the Inventory Specialist (when necessary) in conducting all inventories.
  • Operates the radio frequency equipment to conduct inventory control movements, barcode scanning, and physical inventories.
  • Performs all warehousing functions including, but not limited to, shipping, receiving, and basic SGV operation
  • Performs all other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior material handling experience required.
  • Completion of required SOPs
  • The ability to operate fork trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Experience with radio frequency guns preferred.
  • Knowledge of shipping process preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of product codes and general warehouse procedures.
  • Fundamental computer knowledge and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
