Job description

Job Title: Intelligence Analyst
Location: Reno, NV
FLSA: Hourly
Summary:
Under the direction of the GSOC/Intel Manager, provide support in the planning, collection, analysis, production, and dissemination of finished Intelligence products to various customers. The Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for using best practices to identify, analyze, monitor, and report on all aspects of the security and threat environment associated with the company and its principal/s.
Duties:
โ€ข Collect, process and analyze large amounts of information from various sources to provide succinct assessments to various customers; ranging from real-time Intelligence support to strategic level analysis products.
โ€ข Use OSINT tools and manual open source research techniques to monitor global/domestic threat intelligence and alerting 24/7 or as needed.
โ€ข Provide proper source documentation for all Intelligence findings.
โ€ข Engage with various customers to extract customer intelligence requirements, identify valid sources of information, plan collection of information, analyze information, present information in a medium that is tailored to each customer.
โ€ข Provide written and verbal briefs in formal and informal settings to security teams, management, and external partners.
โ€ข Ensure proper planning to meet product deliverable deadlines.
โ€ข Write accurate and complete intelligence reports based on open source research and analysis of internal data holdings on a variety of topics including area security assessments, travel risk assessments, threat intelligence reports, due diligence, and site security surveys.
โ€ข Ensure best practices in privacy and protection while conducting OSINT operations.
โ€ข Manage and handle situations of a sensitive nature and maintain confidentiality.
โ€ข Participate in product/tool testing and increased capabilities research and development.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the Intelligence Analyst must be a problem solver, possess critical thinking skills and be detail-oriented. In addition, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience:
โ€ข Experience writing properly sourced finished intelligence products.
โ€ข Experience presenting finished intelligence products to management.
โ€ข Previous experience in the Intelligence Community is desired.
โ€ข Knowledge of the Intelligence Cycle.
โ€ข Familiarity with ICD 203 Analytic Standards.
โ€ข Familiarity with Structured Analytic Techniques.
Skills:
โ€ข Computer Skills: Position requires proficiency using the internet, emailing and word processing. Proficiency with Google Suite, MS Office Suite, and other database systems. Intermediate or advanced working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, charts, graphs) is highly desirable. Knowledge of current open source intelligence (OSINT) tradecraft methodologies. Familiarity with using AI and information verification.
โ€ข Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Must have the ability to develop and write clear and concise emails.
โ€ข Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
โ€ข Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
โ€ข Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
โ€ข Have strong prioritization abilities.
โ€ข Ability to analyze problems, identify causes and implement results oriented solutions.
โ€ข Excellent organizational and time management ability.
โ€ข Ability to handle high pressure situations and make sound decisions.
โ€ข A professional demeanor, along with excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions:
โ€ข Able to work weekends, irregular or extended hours. (12 hr shifts)
โ€ข Able to regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands/manual dexterity, reach or stretch, stoop, kneel, crouch, speak and hear.
โ€ข Able to work well with others in a closed door environment.
โ€ข The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Salary and Benefits:

โ€ข Pay structure per shift includes built-in overtime in accordance with Nevada state and federal laws.
