Job description

Radiology Partners is seeking full-time and part-time Breast Radiologists to join their practices in the greater Nashville area. This role focuses on dedicated breast imaging, including various biopsy procedures, within a highly subspecialized model. The ideal candidate will collaborate with local surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists, contributing to a physician-led and collegial group.

Practice Info

  • All aspects of breast imaging, including screening exams, are interpreted only by the breast section in a highly subspecialized model.
  • The role involves a heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging, including ultrasound, stereo, and MRI guided breast biopsies.
  • The practice covers 13 hospitals and 17 imaging centers across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.
  • Collaborative approach ensures outstanding patient care through shared resources and staffing.
  • Physician-led and highly collegial group.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a representative of the practice in the field of Breast Imaging, joining various committees to share subject matter expertise.
  • Primarily responsible for mammography.
  • Help on the general hospital worklist as capacity allows, focusing on US, XR, and STAT CT.

  • Full-time median partner compensation.
  • All opportunities come with incentive bonus options.
  • Full-time employees are also eligible for a generous commencement bonus.
  • The salary range for this position is $600,000-$900,000.
  • This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • A desire to work in a collaborative environment with local surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists is required.
  • Able to read and interpret Tomosynthesis Mammograms (Screening and Diagnostic) is required.
  • Proficiency in Breast Procedures: Cyst aspiration, Biopsies (US and Stereotactic guided), Axillary node biopsy, Wire localization is required.
  • Proficiency in Women's Imaging Ultrasound is required.
  • Able to read and interpret Breast MRI is optional and strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MR guided biopsies is optional and strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lymphoscintigraphy is optional and strongly preferred.
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
  • A one-year post residency fellowship in Breast Imaging is required.
  • Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
  • Licensed in or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN and KY.
