Job description

  • Translate, edit, and review English content into Latin American Spanish across Seller Center, marketing communications, Marketplace Learn, and other Marketplace channels
  • Review vendor translations and provide final linguistic approval
  • Define regionally neutral Spanish versus market-specific adaptations
  • Maintain translation memories, glossaries, style guides, language quality standards, and review protocols
  • Manage localization projects from intake through launch and closeout
  • Build project plans, schedules, priorities, status reports, and documentation
  • Coordinate concurrent workstreams and elevate blockers
  • Lead cross-functional working sessions with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and International stakeholders
  • Track delivery, quality, and operational metrics
  • Perform in-context linguistic quality assurance and audit digital content
  • Triage localization issues and coordinate resolution
  • Train, calibrate, evaluate, and provide feedback to external linguists and vendors
  • Serve as Spanish (LATAM) quality gatekeeper and market advocate
  • Operate translation management, project tracking, content management, and marketing systems
  • Create and maintain Airtable and Jira tickets
  • Support workflows in Crowdin, LILT, HubSpot, and Contentstack
  • Identify process gaps, improve automation, and scale localization operations
Requirements
  • Exceptional written and spoken proficiency in Latin American Spanish (ESMX and ESCL), equivalent to native-level fluency
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Familiarity with linguistic and cultural differences across Spanish-speaking Latin American markets
  • B.A./B.S. degree in Translation, Linguistics, Project Management, Business, International Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience is desirable
  • 5+ years of experience in localization, translation, language operations, or content operations for technology, e-commerce, or digital products
  • 2+ years managing cross-functional projects or workstreams
  • Hands-on experience with CAT tools, TMS platforms, and automated localization workflows
  • Experience with software or UI localization, in-context quality assurance, terminology management, style-guide development, and translation memory maintenance
  • Ability to independently prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on-site five days per week
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 1 year's experience in marketing or related field OR 5 years' experience in marketing or related field
