Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Solution Architect with expertise in AEM architecture and content platforms. The role involves designing and owning enterprise-scale AEM architectures, optimizing CDN and edge architectures, and leading frontend architecture using modern frameworks.
Responsibilities:
• Design and own enterprise scale AEM architectures, including:
• AEM Sites, Assets, Headless & Hybrid implementations
• Component and template frameworks
• Content models, taxonomies, and content structures
• Workflows, MSM, localization, and multi site strategies
• Architect Dispatcher, caching strategies, performance tuning, and scalability patterns
• Drive best practices for AEMaaCS, cloud readiness, and platform modernization
• Architect and configure CDN platforms such as:
• Akamai, CloudFront, Cloudflare, Fastly
• Define and optimize:
• Edge caching and routing strategies
• Image optimization and media delivery
• Web Application Firewall (WAF) and bot mitigation
• Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and resilience
• Lead Frontend architecture using:
• React, Angular, Vue
• Design and govern:
• SPA and Micro Frontend patterns
• Integration of Frontend apps with AEM (SPA Editor, Headless APIs)
• Establish performance, accessibility, and UX best practices
• Design and implement BFF layers using:
• Node.js, Java, Spring Boot
• Integrate BFF services with:
• AEM Headless APIs (GraphQL, REST, Sling Models)
• Define API contracts, orchestration patterns, and scalability strategies
• Architect integrations with:
• CRM and commerce platforms
• Identity and access management systems (OAuth2, SAML, JWT)
• Analytics, personalization, and marketing cloud platforms
• Ensure secure, performant, and maintainable integration patterns
• Provide architectural leadership across delivery teams
• Lead design reviews, technical decisioning, and governance forums
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and guide root cause analysis
• Mentor developers and architects; uplift engineering maturity
• Work in Agile delivery models, partnering with Product, QA, and DevOps teams
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for US customers and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for US customers
Qualifications:
Required:
• Total Experience: 14–20 years overall
• AEM Experience: 7–10 years with AEM 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
• AEM Solution Architecture, AEM 6.x / AEMaaCS, CDN (Akamai/CloudFront/Cloudflare/Fastly)
• Frontend (React/Angular/Vue), Headless AEM, BFF (Node.js/Java/Spring Boot), GraphQL/REST
• Dispatcher, DevOps, CI/CD, Security
• Expert level AEM knowledge, including: Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL
• Dispatcher, workflows, MSM
• Strong experience across: CDN and edge architectures
• Modern Frontend frameworks and SPA patterns
• BFF and API driven architectures
• DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments
• Security, authentication, and authorization
