Localization Associate information

What is a localization associate?

Localization Associates are professionals who help adapt content, products, or services for different languages and cultures. They work to ensure that translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and consistent with the brand’s voice. Their tasks often include coordinating with translators, reviewing translated materials, and managing localization projects. Localization Associates play a vital role in helping organizations reach global audiences effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a localization associate?

To thrive as a Localization Associate, you need proficiency in at least two languages, strong attention to detail, and a background in translation, linguistics, or a related field. Familiarity with CAT tools (computer-assisted translation), translation management systems, and QA software is typically expected. Exceptional organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication set outstanding candidates apart. These skills ensure accurate, culturally relevant translations and efficient project delivery in a global business environment.

How does a localization associate typically collaborate with product and development teams during a project?

A Localization Associate works closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure that translated content fits seamlessly into the product experience. This often involves attending project meetings, clarifying context for translators, and providing feedback on how language choices may affect usability or cultural relevance. Regular communication with cross-functional teams is key to resolving issues quickly, maintaining consistent terminology, and ensuring deadlines are met. This collaborative environment helps ensure that localized content maintains the intent and quality of the original material.

Full-time

Job description

ADP is hiring a Senior Lead Product Manager.

  • Are you deeply empathetic to both candidates and enterprise recruiting teams, and inspired by transforming how people connect to opportunities at a global scale?
  • Have you built intuitive, AI-enabled candidate experiences that drive engagement, matching, and conversion across complex hiring ecosystems?
  • Do you understand how to design flexible, configurable platforms that meet the diverse needs of large, global organizations without sacrificing simplicity or usability?

Well, this may be the role for you. Ready to design what's next?

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of AI-enabled candidate experiences within our enterprise recruiting platform. You will focus on building intuitive, personalized journeys that improve how candidates discover, engage with, and apply to opportunities, while ensuring the platform can flexibly support the complex, global needs of large organizations.

This role sits at the intersection of AI innovation, user experience, and enterprise platform design, requiring deep recruiting domain expertise and the ability to create highly configurable, scalable solutions that balance flexibility with simplicity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Define and deliver AI-powered candidate experiences, including job discovery, matching, and application flows that drive engagement and conversion
  • Build intuitive, user-centric experiences that simplify complex hiring processes for candidates across geographies and industries
  • Design and scale configurable product capabilities that enable enterprise customers to tailor workflows, branding, and compliance requirements without custom builds
  • Translate complex enterprise recruiting needs into clear product strategy, roadmap, and execution plans
  • Partner closely with engineering, UX design, and data science to deliver AI-driven features (e.g., recommendations, automations, conversational experiences)
  • Engage with large, global customers to deeply understand their hiring challenges and validate product direction
  • Balance innovation with reliability, ensuring solutions are scalable, extensible, and performant at enterprise scale

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

To thrive in this role, you must take command of your product, lead multiple team's efforts, and be a deep listener who can ask the right clarifying questions to help understand the problem your stakeholders are trying to solve. You've worked with Agile teams and understand product delivery cycles. You have experience explaining the prioritization of a product roadmap, creating that roadmap, and documenting in a way that both external and internal teams will understand. You have held roles where you regularly communicate and defend ideas to a broad audience of stakeholders technical or non-technical. Our best product managers are domain experts and enthusiastic creators who stay current on the latest trends. As part of our team, your voice will influence product success and help shape our industry. In addition:

  • You bring deep expertise in recruiting or HR tech, with a strong understanding of end-to-end hiring workflows and candidate lifecycle
  • You have a proven track record of building candidate-facing experiences that are both intuitive and impactful at scale
  • You understand how to apply AI/ML (including generative AI) to create meaningful, differentiated user experiences
  • You excel at designing configurable enterprise platforms, enabling flexibility without overcomplicating the user experience
  • You are comfortable navigating complex global customer requirements, including compliance, localization, and organizational variability
  • You think in systems, not just features-balancing scalability, usability, and extensibility
  • You are highly collaborative and influence effectively across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
  • You have 10+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically in enterprise recruiting systems
  • Have a basic understanding of technology to engage with cross-functional team members.
  • Experience with Jira / Confluence for planning, documentation, and tracking.
  • Strong background in cross-functional coordination, testing cycles, and stakeholder management
