Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Position Type: Local & Travel Contracts Available
Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team in Coos Bay, Oregon. This opportunity offers both local and travel contract options for professionals passionate about helping students develop the communication skills needed for academic and personal success.

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting student evaluations, providing speech and language therapy services, maintaining required documentation, and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable district, state, and professional standards

Compensation

Travel Contract

  • Up to $3,006 per week
  • Housing and meal stipends available for eligible travelers

Local Contract

  • Up to $2,880 per week

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required based on state or contract requirements
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Current CPR certification, if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
  • Current health certificate, if required by state regulations or contract
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
