Your New Role

Location: West Austin, TX

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, system evaluations, and repair recommendations

  • Service and repair heating and cooling systems, heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, communicating systems, inverter systems, ductless mini-splits, zoning systems, and indoor air quality equipment

  • Utilize modern diagnostic tools, digital reporting platforms, photos, and service documentation to accurately capture job details

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding system performance, repair options, replacement opportunities, and comfort solutions

  • Present repair, upgrade, indoor air quality, and replacement options ethically and professionally

  • Support maintenance agreement growth and customer retention initiatives

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle

  • Follow company safety standards, service procedures, and customer communication expectations

  • Collaborate with dispatch, office staff, service leadership, and installation teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience

  • Participate in ongoing HVAC training and manufacturer education programs to stay current with evolving technology

  • At least 5 years of residential HVAC service experience required

  • EPA Certification required

  • NATE Certification is a plus

  • Valid driver's license preferred with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to pass applicable background and driving requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

  • Experience servicing residential HVAC systems, air conditioning systems, heating systems, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment

  • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, refrigerant circuits, airflow, controls, ductwork, and system performance

  • Experience with Carrier, Mitsubishi, inverter systems, ductless mini-splits, communicating equipment, or high-efficiency HVAC systems is a plus

  • Ability to communicate effectively with homeowners and present service recommendations professionally

  • Comfortable using digital reporting tools, service software, and job documentation platforms

  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software is a plus

  • Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical closets, rooftops, and outdoor conditions

  • Ability to lift and move HVAC equipment and materials as needed

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality service

  • Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and grow within the organization
