Job description

Local Home Daily Position - Gordonsville, VA Area We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated, home daily account based in the Gordonsville, VA area. This is a local position, and applicants must live within a commutable distance of Gordonsville, VA (Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Staunton, Richmond, and surrounding areas) and be able to commute daily.


Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 3 months of Class A experience within the last 3 years
  • Must live within driving distance of Gordonsville, VA and be able to commute daily
  • Must meet all DOT drug, alcohol, and safety requirements
  • Tickets, accidents, and criminal history reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Job Details
  • $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

  • Home daily with 48-hour resets (same two days off each week)

  • Must report daily to the Gordonsville location

  • Mix of dry and refrigerated grocery freight

  • No-touch freight with live unloads at store locations

  • Routes run throughout VA, NC, MD, PA, and WV

  • Start times between noon and midnight

  • Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off (additional shifts available upon request)

  • Approximately 1,700 miles per week

  • Slip-seat operation with newer model day cabs

  • Weekend availability required

Pay & Compensation
  • Average Weekly Pay: $1,300 - $1,500

  • Stop Pay: $20 per stop

  • W2 Position

  • Full benefits package available (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
