LOCAL DRIVER
Summary:
Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to their destinations in and around the Rio Grande Valley or can be assigned to a warehouse. This includes following all traffic laws and regulations, perform pre/post trip inspections, document the delivery and loading process, as well as maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Check commercial vehicle to ensure that it is in good conditions to operate.
  • Understanding of driving responsibilities.
  • Deliver cargo to businesses and warehouses in a timely manner.
  • Able to work flexible schedule.​
  • Maintain logs of working hours, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-passed environment.
  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain up to date CDL license and medial card.
  • Participate un random drug testing in compliance with FMCSA and company standards.
Routes:
  • Starr county.
  • Hidalgo county.
  • Cameron county.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 8 am to 5 pm.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (class A).
  • 2+ years' experience.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • No SAP program.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Dry van experience preferred.
