Job description

Job Title: Class A CDL Driver - Roll Off Trailer
Location: Portage, Michigan
Pay: $25 - $27hr - OT after 40hrs

Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• Start time at 6:00 AM
• End time between 2:30 - 4:30pm
• Possible short Saturdays
• Averaging 40 - 50 hours per week
• Optional warehouse work available
 

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
• Drive a Class A CDL Roll-Off Trailer (Automatic and Manual) - these will be wide loads of floor and roof trusses
• Complete 2 - 6 delivery stops per day
• Run mostly local routes within a 200 mile radius
• Safely unload materials using a Roll-Off trailer and at times by hand
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance
• Work closely with warehouse staff and customers to ensure efficient deliveries
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following company safety procedures
 

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Valid Class A license required and able to drive Manual Transmission
• Valid DOT Medical Card required
• 1 – 2 years of CDL driving experience required
• Experience operating a Roll-Off and Wide Loads are preferred
• Ability to safely lift 75lbs
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
