Position Overview: As a Molder based in Atchison, KS you will be responsible for the daily set up, ramming, and finishing molds. This includes operating the mobile mixer, finishing molds and setting cores as well as doing other production work within the foundry.
SHIFT: 1st and 2nd Shift
Wages: $25.73-28.58
Primary Responsibilities
  • Following production schedule to align with molds being poured
  • Following established process instructions
  • Setting up patterns and flasks,
  • Ramming/finishing/coring/closing molds according to production schedule
  • Alert lead of any maintenance needs
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Maintain daily housekeeping in the work area
  • Other duties as assigned
Key Selection Criteria
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
Experience:
  • Prefer some foundry experience but not required.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and with others
