Job description

Semi Truck Driving
Personnel Plus, Inc. Burley is now hiring for Semi Driver to join their team. If you don't have a CDL, our client is willing to train the right candidate.
This is a temp-to-hire position. Upon rollover, employees are eligible for a benefits package including health insurance, a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with up to a 3% employer match, paid time off (PTO), and year-round work.
  • Pay $13.00
  • Schedule: it is a Full time position Monday - Saturday, time in is depending on weather
  • Temp-to -hire
Duties:
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Communicate well with others.
  • Correctly log your truck out at the end of the day.
  • Report defects, accidents, or violations.
  • Ensure the product is delivered in a timely fashion.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience driving is a bonus
  • Class A or B CDL is a bonus
  • Must be able to pass Background and driving record
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to get in and out of the truck multiple times a day
  • Must be able to perform maintenance on the vehicle
  • Ability to drive long hours (10+)
