Specifically seeking an individual licensed in HVAC, who will work directly with another licensed HVAC technician and is also willing to complete other daily facility maintenance as needed.

In keeping with our organization’s goal of improving the lives of the residents we serve, the Corporate Maintenance Team provides overall direction and guidance for all activities related to maintaining all physical plant assets on the property, department management, and information systems of their associated facilities. Corporate Maintenance works closely with associated facility Directors of Maintenance and the Regional Director of Maintenance to ensure all aspects of Maintenance Department operations follow federal, state and local regulations.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 (two) to 3 (three) years of prior Handyman experience in a variety of residential and commercial settings.

Knowledge in a combination of the following: Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting Techniques, Flooring Installation, Roofing Knowledge, Drywall Repair, and/or Appliance Maintenance. Please list experience in these fields in submitted resume/application.

This job operates in health care settings. This role may also encounter residents who have contagious illnesses. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items weighing at least 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Significant travel is required for this position.
