ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California.

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Weekend rotation required with minimum every other weekend coverage
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required to TICU, Med/Tele, and MS units as needed
• May float to other CPMC locations if census is low on home unit
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 3 years ICU experience required, 4 years preferred
• 2 years minimum experience required for submission
• California RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Daily census of 30 patients in 36-bed unit
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• Must have 50-mile travel requirement compliance

The facility maintains high standards with Trauma Level I capabilities and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services. The ICU is equipped to handle complex cases requiring advanced monitoring and life support technologies with comprehensive orientation and training programs for nursing staff.
