Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, incorporating feedback from multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and collaboratively establish pre-crisis and crisis plans, positive behavior support strategies, and medication treatment plans, as needed.
  • Document client progress and treatment interventions thoroughly and in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring necessary documentation is completed promptly.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as part of the initial assessment process and ongoing evaluations to inform treatment adjustments.
  • Facilitate positive behavior support plans in collaboration with program teams, enhancing the experience and outcomes for our clients.
  • Engage with community partners, state agencies, and local resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients and foster relationships that may lead to new opportunities.
  • Actively contribute to our licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that our standards meet state and federal guidelines.
  • Pursue opportunities for professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions relevant to mental health counseling and community service.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall effectiveness of our mental health services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, focusing on individuals from various backgrounds who face challenges related to mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients achieve independence and community integration through tailored therapies and support programs.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • A valid, independent LMHC license in the state of Tennessee. For prospective candidates licensed in other states, Frontier Counseling Services will cover licensing fees to facilitate your transition.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing counseling services within a community-based setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapies related to mental health and substance use recovery.
  • Strong skills in documentation and familiarity with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, in addition to a robust benefits package. This includes:
