This role often involves frequent direct interaction with customers—receiving signatures, answering delivery questions, and sometimes handling minor issues on the spot. Effective communication and a customer-friendly attitude are key, as you're often the face of the company during these deliveries. Collaboration with dispatchers and warehouse staff is also common to ensure smooth operations.
