This role is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and programming of all door hardware and electronic locking systems throughout the property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in locksmithing, including key cutting and lock manipulation, as well as expertise in electronic door lock software systems.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform repair and maintenance of all doors, locks, and associated hardware across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic door lock systems and software.
  • Cut keys, re-key locks according to bitting lists, and open locks using approved lock-defeating tools and methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of key issuance, lock changes, and system configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal safety codes, as well as hotel security protocols.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and security-related lock issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to maintain system integrity and access control.
  • Assist in emergency lockouts and provide technical support for electronic access systems.
  • Maintain inventory of locksmith tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
  • Maintain regular attendance in conformance with company standards; attend required meetings and training sessions.
