A locksmith apprentice assists experienced locksmiths in repairing, installing, and adjusting locks and security devices.

Job Responsibilities:

· Deliver on Operational Projects within Budget

· Install, Service and Repair various types of systems integration systems and components

· Program Security Systems 

· Maintains records of work performed 

· Ensures proper care, in the use of maintaining equipment and supplies

· Participate in Technician on Call Schedule

· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties assigned

· Executes work in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of locksmithing experience

· Skills in using locksmith tools and machines

· Attention to detail

· Good communication and customer service skills

· Ability to interact in a professional manner with the customer along with the ability to identify and satisfy customer needs

· Ability and willingness to follow instructions

· Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure

· Basic computer skills

· A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position

· A valid Texas Locksmith License is required for this position

· Ability to work independently on customer site

· Ability to meet deadlines and have strong time management and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

· Physical ability to stand for long periods
