Job description

ICON International is currently seeking an entry-level, self-starter in our Fort Lauderdale, FL Office.


Position Description

As a Local Media Investment Associate, you will identify local audiences for advertisers across various advertising platforms. The role involves working in a dynamic field and learning negotiation techniques. The team acknowledges new ideas and supports career development. It is committed to both hard work and collaborative efforts


Responsibilities

  • Performs stewardship functions relating to client schedules, including maintenance and tracking of schedules
  • Demonstrates the required skills to input and maintain media schedules
  • Provide support to Buyers/Supervisors on assigned projects and tasks
  • Displays drive and takes initiative to learn, problem solve and grow
  • Demonstrates accuracy on all projects
  • Meets timelines and deadlines on completing tasks and projects
  • Maintains good organizational skills


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 0-1 year of media experience
  • Adaptable individual skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Adept at initiating phone conversations with outside media vendors
  • Able to work alone and with the group on tasks
  • Intermediate math and numeracy are crucial
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
