Class A CDL – Local Truck Driver

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Position Overview

We are hiring experienced Class A CDL Local Drivers for an intermodal position based in Indianapolis, IN. This role offers daily home time, consistent miles, and mostly no-touch freight in a well-structured operation.

Job Responsibilities

  • 75% drop and hook freight
  • Run dedicated lanes between Indianapolis and Chicago
  • Perform local deliveries within a 100-mile radius as needed
  • Report daily to terminal for dispatch (slip seat operation)

Equipment & Work Conditions

  • Day cab trucks
  • Slip seating
  • Trucks remain at terminal during time off
  • No passengers or pets allowed
  • No smoking in trucks

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 3 months of driving experience
  • Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days (cost reimbursed)
