These drivers must follow strict safety regulations and procedures to safely handle, load, and deliver dangerous goods such as chemicals, fuel, or gases. They are required to have a commercial driver's license (CDL) with a hazardous materials (Hazmat) endorsement, and they play a critical role in ensuring both public safety and environmental protection during transportation.
