Global Dynamics LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in providing Healthcare Clinical and Support Services, Administrative, and Training Support for the Federal Government.  Global Dynamics, LLC is a leader in the personnel support services industry setting a new standard in career placement and flexible staffing. 

Position Title: Behavioral Health Case Manager

Position Purpose: The Behavioral Health Case Manager provides clinical case management services supporting the Iowa Army National Guard (IA ARNG) Behavioral Health Program. This position conducts behavioral health assessments and screenings, coordinates referrals and resources, manages high-risk cases, maintains clinical documentation, and supports Soldier medical readiness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral health intake, bio-psycho-social, substance abuse, and risk assessments.
  • Perform screenings for PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and alcohol abuse using approved assessment tools.
  • Coordinate behavioral health, substance abuse, medical, VA, TRICARE, and community referrals.
  • Monitor and maintain contact with high-risk Service Members.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Prepare case summaries, NARSUMs, temporary profile documentation, and required reports.
  • Support fitness-for-duty evaluations and return-to-duty recommendations.
  • Coordinate with military providers, leadership, community agencies, and IA ARNG support programs.
  • Attend PHA, SRP, Yellow Ribbon, outreach, and readiness events as required.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, Army regulations, and applicable medical documentation requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Social Sciences, or related field plus three years of relevant experience may be considered with Government approval.
  • Current state license/certification as a mental health practitioner; must be licensed in Iowa or a reciprocal state within 90 days of employment.
  • Must be able to practice independently without state-mandated clinical supervision.
  • Minimum three (3) years of qualifying mental health care experience.
  • Experience conducting behavioral health, substance abuse, and risk assessments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and computer skills.
  • Experience working with military personnel and community agencies preferred.
  • Drug and alcohol counseling certification strongly preferred.

Working Conditions and Environment

This position is on-site in a medical facility. Driving may be required.

  • Travel: Approximately 10% throughout Iowa
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, with occasional evenings, weekends, and National Guard drill weekends

Physical Requirements

The position requires repetitive motion, such as standing, walking, sitting and bending.  Light lifting, up to 20 pounds, may be required.
