Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Electronic Technician to join a leading Company located in the Urbana, OH surrounding area.

This role involves repairing and maintaining electrical equipment, with the opportunity to obtain a repairman license after 18 months. Ideal candidates will have a background in electronics, but strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed work instructions are also highly valued.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain electrical equipment.
  • Follow detailed work instructions to tear down and rebuild equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background in electronics preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a repairman's license after 18 months.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Technical skills in electrical repair and maintenance.
