Job description

All County Environmental and Restoration is a leading full-service repair, restoration, and cleanup company with over 25 years of experience. We are a stable and growing organization seeking a skilled Build Back Technician to join our team.

Seasonal Prevailing Wage Position: This is a seasonal position supporting prevailing wage projects. Employment is contingent upon project availability, business needs, and continued eligibility to work on assigned projects. Because this position may involve work at government facilities, public works projects, schools, or other secure locations, applicants must be able to satisfy all applicable federal, state, local, and client-specific access requirements, which may include successful completion of legally compliant background checks, identity verification, security clearances, or other pre-access screening as required by law or contract. Any required background check will be conducted only after any applicable conditional offer of employment and in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws, including Californiaโ€™s Fair Chance Act where applicable. Employees must also maintain any licenses, certifications, or qualifications required to perform the essential functions of the position.

The Build Back Technician is responsible for completing restoration and repair projects, including drywall, painting, flooring, tile installation, and finish work. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in construction or restoration services.

Responsibilities

Perform drywall installation, repairs, sanding, texturing, priming, and painting

Complete painting projects, including rolling, spraying, and detail finishing

Install flooring materials, including vinyl tile, carpet, wood, and other flooring types

Perform tile installation and repairs

Complete finish carpentry tasks, including baseboards, trim, and casings

Prepare job sites and remove debris, obstacles, and hazards

Assemble and disassemble temporary structures as needed

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Complete job site cleanup and restoration tasks

Follow safety procedures and company quality standards

Participate in training and development opportunities

Qualifications

Experience in construction, restoration, remodeling, or related trades preferred

Knowledge of drywall, painting, flooring, tile, and finish carpentry

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Physical Requirements
