JOB SUMMARY:ย 

$16.50/hour

The Local Restaurant Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Operations team and is primarily responsible for driving incremental business into the restaurants. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and is motivated to grow sales while maintaining a high level of professionalism and energy. The Local Restaurant Marketing Specialist should be comfortable with cold calling and canvassing.

This is a fully in-person, field-based role that requires traveling to local businesses and surrounding towns to generate catering sales. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable access to a personal vehicle. In addition to sales responsibilities, this role also supports catering operations, so prior food production experience is preferred to assist with preparing catering orders as needed.ย 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Focus on canvassing local businesses, including researching local companies and opportunities.
  • Actively travel to nearby businesses and communities to build relationships and drive catering sales.
  • Maintain a full and complete understanding of catering offers.
  • Support the preparation of catering orders as needed.
  • Observe competitor activities such as new locations or menu items and communicate insights to the organization.




Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent presentation ability.
  • Creative and innovative personality with a strong motivational drive.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook (Email and Calendar).
  • Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with team members and guests.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Food production or kitchen experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift or carry 20 pounds.
  • Ability to drive to all restaurant locations and to any new areas being considered for growth opportunities.
  • Ability to remain in a seated position for sustained periods of time.
  • Ability to handle paperwork, pick up telephone, type on a computer, etc.
